Ernesto Barreiro is an artist from Mexico.
“An honest biography of myself and why I ended up painting mandalas and sacred geometry drawings for others will begin with the reality that I came into art through a lifetime of suffering. First some inflicted upon me and then the suffering I caused myself and others. I reached a turning point in my life where the deeper questions we all ask within, like “why do I exist” started making sense and things on the outside began to make no intelligent sense at all.
At that turning point around 4 years ago I embarked on a path of self-healing and since then I have dedicated the last 3 years to paint over 60 custom sacred geometry pieces, most 22X22 inches and all hand drawn, for a variety of customers, both local and international.
Some salvia life changing experiences (especially the first one I had which was very dangerous) led me to the conclusion that our level of reality is an illusory state of being and that energy and its fractal configurations is what the Cosmos is made of, the mind of God, the Creator.
Fibonnaci and phi with all their resulting geometries are the main tools I use to construct my paintings.
I am 42 years old scorpio male, currently residing in a small rural town, Santiago Tepoztlán near México city. I live here with my soulmate Cecil and my two dogs Rigpa and Padme.
I specialize in doing custom works for customers that want a specific theme including; symbols, animals, religious motifs or anything one can think as being relevant on a personal level, including the combination of colors used in each piece.”
