Katia Honour is an artist from Melbourne, Australia. Katia bridges the ethereal and physical as a majestic symbiosis. After lifelong esoteric, occult and shamanic trance practices, she became compelled to adopt oil paints and map the meeting places ‘between worlds”, where personal merges with myth, humans reveal their divinity and the Divine communes with humanity.
As an alchemic labour of love, Katia has trained and taught internationally in the ‘mischtechnik’ approach favoured by Fuchs, Michale Angelo and Dali, to build forms and luminousity through layers of tempera and glaze.
