The Gayatri Mantra:
The Gayatri Mantra is the oldest known prayer, given directly to man by source, for one man’s faith and dedicated servitude. At the core of the mantra, it is a prayer for the enlightenment of all mankind.
About the artwork:
At the center is the eternal AUM(OM). The same OM sung by Tibetan Monks for millennia. The monks consider it to be the primal sound of the universe. It has been recorded in many forms, this depiction is in ancient Sanscrit. Sanscrit is compared to Latin and Greek and is just as significant even though much of the western world knows little of it or its existence. In John 1:1 “In the beginning there was the word, and the word was God”. A word no matter how it is spoken is simply a sound vibration. The study of “Cymatics” shows how sound frequencies create specific patterns in matter.
The primal sound of the universe begins and creates the first complex shape, the Vesica Pisces. In Sacred Geometry, it is literally the second day of creation as described in the Christian religion. The Vesica Pisces exists in the human body in three places, the shape of the eye, and inside the eye. The lens of the eye is a Vesica Pisces. Both functions allow us to see the light. The Pineal Gland has been described as being like a grain of rice which resembles a Vesica Pisces. The Pineal Gland is also known as “The Seat of the Soul” and “The Third Eye”. It is known that certain chemicals produced by the Pineal Gland are responsible for “higher spiritual functions”. The “Eye of Horus” is directly descendant from the physical shape of the pineal gland.
The line work spreading out from the center is next and represents source creating the light that radiated out and created all of existence including man.
Man is represented by the Seven Chakra’s. When white light is broken down it forms a rainbow or spectrum of colors. These colors correspond with the Seven Chakras or “Wheels within Wheels”. These energy centers are associated with your light body and a deeper system of many lesser Chakras within the body.
The symbol on the right represents the cyclical nature of time. The greater cycle, represented by the sine wave passing thru the center just as we are passing thru the galactic plane. The passing thru the center is the beginning of a golden age, and is correspondingly colored gold.
The wood used in the artwork is simple pine board hand traced and carved. Line work was then black lined with thinned paint and areas colored using water soluble acrylics.
My Inspiration:
On my journey I came across a woman’s face that kept appearing in the sidebar of you tube. After days of randomly running across her face, even during searches I considered unrelated, there was that face again. I finally said “ok, who IS this?”. So I watched this video of a woman named Deva Premal and was blown away by this angelic voice so I watched a few more videos. I came across the video of her singing the Gayatri Mantra.
My mind was immediately whisked away to some faraway place, a time long distant. The feeling I had was like pure emotion, like reuniting with a dear friend you haven’t seen in years, running thru my entire being. I felt like I knew this somehow. This Mantra spoke to me on a deep level. I feel it every time I listen to it.
It’s said the Mantras invoke certain tones and frequencies to cause action in the physical plane. There is a science behind this, Cymatics. It is based on a scale of “A” being tuned to 432, not 440 as it is today. The ancients knew it as is evidenced in some of the stone carvings surviving today, only now, with the exception of the few who never lost this knowledge, are we rediscovering it. The true power of frequency and vibration, welcome to it.
In Conclusion:
I have been blessed my whole life with the ability to see things in my mind and create them thru my hands. I just close my eyes, and I see it. These days I like to explain it this way, “Source comes over my house when I have free time to create and we make things together”.
I challenge all of you who may read this to nurture your inner artist. Pick up a pencil and draw. That’s how we all start. Simple sketches, a flower, a fork to practice, a cup of pens, it doesn’t matter what it is. Like everything in life, the more you do it, one day it just clicks.
The imagery I have created here I give to all who may wish to use it, it may only be used for positive purposes, including your own personal gain. As Source gave the Gayatri to mankind, I add my unique, fractal interpretation to it and I give it back to you. It is my gift to all and I hope you use it to inspire you to pick up that pencil.
Namaste my friends and welcome to the golden age. Robert Pizza
